This is proving to be the Book of The Month for us. In an age of frequently reported child sexual abuse we all have a responsibility to make our kids conscious of what’s around them. Vegetables in Underwear is a good way to introduce the concept of clothing and how certain articles of clothing should be removed only when necessary or because we want to. It’s a great book to introduce language and speech (particularly about vegetables) but what it has done in this household is to make my kids realize that their clothing and especially underwear can only be changed by them on their own or by their parents.
