When we count life’s blessings we don’t count the quiet days. The days when nothing happened. When life went by quietly and nothing outstanding happened. When we spent a quiet afternoon playing with our kids, reading a book, reorganizing our closet or just watching TV. Those days go at the bottom of the pile. But those are the days that should really be celebrated because usually those days are harder to come by. In today’s life of constant social and professional demands, the quiet days are the best days.
