There’s nothing more positive than a bunch of women who face SPECIAL NEEDS everyday in all its complexity and yet, kiss their child good night with the promise to make tomorrow better than today. If this is not positive then I don’t know what is. Kudos to our awesome group for being truthful about our fears and concerns, for being supportive when we vent about huge setbacks and the most trivial things and for being an inspiration to each other. There’s nothing that quite deserves the phrase “a force of nature” than a mother who fights for her child everyday, cries many nights when she thinks of the future, but eventually learns to live in the present. We are all so awesome. And our kids too. Let’s hope 2017 is a little easier on us and ours. Let’s hope we keep our sisterhood as strong as today. The following was sent by the CEO of our organization to the entire staff at Christiana. Looked share worthy.
